First Responders and Emergency Preparedness

Our close relationship with emergency responders and local officials in our pipeline communities helps prevent and prepare for emergencies. Iroquois provides emergency responders with industry-standard and system-specific information through informational meetings and on-site training sessions. For information on a session in your region, check our scheduled events calendar, or contact us:

During 2023, Iroquois will be reaching out to emergency responders and local fire departments that serve its pipeline communities in Montgomery, Schenectady, Schoharie and Albany Counties in New York, as well as Suffolk and Nassau Counties on Long Island to schedule Natural Gas Pipeline Safety and Emergency Response Presentations. We hope to be able to conduct in-person meetings this year if it is safe to do so. In addition,  we are offering virtual presentations to any emergency response organization that would like to receive this safety training. Please contact us for any additional information, or to request a meeting.
